The main pilgrim route, the 'Camino Frances' starts on the border of Spain at St. Jean Pied de Port in France, crosses the Pyrenees and across northern Spain for 780 km.
The route usually takes between 25-30 days or longer and is walked by a large variety of people.
Many people choose to start in St. Jean Pied de Port there are many other routes (which also join with the Camino Frances from all across Europe).
